Perfectly Pageants is an independent pageant system based out of Calgary, Alberta Canada. The program is run by Brianna Asham-Mcleod, niece of Let’s Give Them Hope staff Dennis and Wendy Schofield, and assisted by Alexandria Asham-Mcleod.
Perfectly Pageants’ purpose is to encourage and inspire youth of all ages and genders to demonstrate kindness, good sportsmanship, independence and compassion. Each pageant is dedicated towards helping one or two charities, with the top contributors being awarded at the end of each event.
On January 24, 2016, Perfectly Pageants held its sixth pageant in Calgary, with effort going towards both the Calgary Salvation Army and Let’s Give Them Hope.
The event was able to collect many items of clothing for the Salvation Army, as well as $250 for LGTH. This money went towards the purchase of a freezer for our chicken-hatching project.
On behalf of everyone involved at Let’s Give Them Hope, we would like to say a big thank-you to Perfectly Pageants, as well as everyone else involved in this fundraiser. A special thanks goes out to Talayna Ekelund and Arissa Tillemen, who were awarded Zimbabwean safari themed crowns as the top contributors of the night.
